Drum clinic with Ian Haugland from EUROPE

The drum clinic featuring Ian Haugland was held in Örebro, Sweden on November 16, 2010.

Ian Haugland is of course the drummer of the Swedish melodic hard rock band EUROPE.
The release of the album Last look at Eden in late 2009 was immediately followed by some extensive touring around the world. One year later, the Last look at Eden tour was still on a roll. Europe played in South America in early November 2010 and when the band returned home, Ian Haugland decided to embark on a drum clinics tour in Sweden. With such a solo tour, Ian gave his fans the chance to meet him in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere and interact with him very closely.
To the attendants delight, Ian also took his time to sign a lot of autographs.

Clinic 2011 with Ian Haugland´s drum tech

EUROPE´s drum tech Jakob Herrmann held a drum clinic in
Stockholm, Sweden, at Münchenbryggeriet on October 2, 2011.

Jakob Herrmann was taking care of how the drums were sounding in the studio when Europe recorded the Last look at Eden album during December 2008 - February 2009.
Jakob mainly talked about how to get a good sound out of drums and how to properly tune a drum kit and shared a lot of knowledge and secrets with the audience during the clinic.
Other than Europe, Jakob also worked as a drum tech in the studio when MUSTASCH made The New Sound of the True Best album, which was recorded in late 2010 and released in early 2011.
Another high profile recording that Jakob Herrmann got involved with, was when he worked as a drum tech in the studio for HARDCORE SUPERSTAR. This was during the recording of the band´s eighth studio album Split your lip back in 2010.
